If you like close harmonies and some pretty cool guitar finger pickin’, then Generation Gap will elate you. Here are the eclectic talents of Zachary Stevenson, a UVic grad, who has performed as Buddy Holly in many productions of “Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story “ most recently in Chemainus and Kansas City, as well as being Hank Williams, Phil Ochs, Jim Pane and starring in “ Urinetown” here in Victoria and across Canada. His dad Jack, originally from Toronto, is part of the popular duo Jack & May and has performed features at all the Island folk clubs. Together as Generation Gap, their first love is the folk scene that Jack grew up loving and Zach tapped into, along with a taste for more contemporary roots music, some familiar, some obscure and some original but always inspiring.
