The Haven came together as a band in the Fall of 2023. They are Sidney North Saanich based with four core members: Peter Bacsalmasi on lead guitar and vocals; Natalie Foley, lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Don Carscaden on bass; and Keith Bjorndahl on drums and BG vocals. In addition to a busy summer performing largely cover songs locally, as well as a special invite to The Palace Theatre in Calgary, The Haven has 17 original songs to its name. An album release is planned for 2025. The Haven’s original music is a blend of rock, pop and Americana with hints of country and even the odd disco groove. The band’s influences draw from hits dating from the 60’s to the present. While the band covers a range of genres, a common thread runs through their music that is distinctly The Haven. Their performances bring great positive energy to any venue.
